Our mission is to empower women and children in Uganda with the information, skills and tools to enable them to live healthy, focused lives and in particular to improve the lives of women living with HIV/AIDS through empowerment-based training and sensitization.

Our vision is to help women and children make informed choices in life that will lead to prosperity and to help women with skills training so that they can enter the professional workforce with their skills.

Objectives:

• To sensitize women on how best they can live longer and better with HIV/AIDS
• To teach best-practices for taking medication and how to maintain a healthy lifestyle
• To generate income for women through their handwork and crafts
• To create a sense of belonging and unity through community outreach

Any women who have HIV in the community or anyone who is needy and willing to learn new skills is invited to join Mutima.
